Hannah Ashton wakes up to silence.

The entire city around her is empty, except for one other person: Leo Sterling. Leo might be hottest boy ever (and not just because he's the only one left), but he's also too charming, too selfish, and too devastating for his own good, let alone Hannah's.

Stuck with only each other, they explore a world with no parents, no friends, and no school and realize that they can be themselves instead of playing the parts everyone expects of them. Hannah doesn't have to be just an overachieving, music-box-perfect ballerina, and Leo can be more than a slacker, 80s-glam-metal-obsessed guitarist. Leo is a burst of honesty and fun that draws Hannah out, and Hannah's got Leo thinking about someone other than himself for the first time.

Together, they search for answers amid crushing isolation, but while their empty world may appear harmless . . . it's not. Because nothing is quite as it seems, and if Hannah and Leo don't figure out what's going on, they might just be torn apart forever.

“Romance fans will thrill to the slow smolder of their drawn-out attraction, which twists and turns its way through psychological drama that… is offset by the effective mystery of their isolated situation. Opposites attract in this engrossing romance.”

Kirkus

“Both characters are well drawn … An enjoyable girl-meets-boy with a science fiction subplot.”

School Library Journal

“Haunting and full of thought, this is a great one to pick up and immerse yourself in.”

Book Riot

“Bourne breaks open the bad boy-meets-good girl trope that was so prevalent in 2000s young adult literature and puts it under a microscope in You and Me at the End of the World. She dissects it. Challenges its structure and infuses it with life. Resuscitating the trope without tripping into all of its baggage … You and Me at the End of the World is an electric love story with a twist … A coming-of-age story produced by a freaky sci-fi fantasy situation that blooms into a romance. It’s genre-hopping done incredibly well.”

Culturess

“I really enjoyed the twist at the end of the novel. However, the twist isn’t what makes this book so special. The slow buildup of the romance between the two teens is not only realistic but handled really delicately … Author Brianna Bourne lets the story unfold naturally … You & Me At the End of the World is an entertaining novel that shows just how young love and a brief encounter can transform a life.”

This Bliss Life

“A book with something for everyone, author Brianna Bourne’s debut novel You & Me at the End of the World is an enthralling young adult romance/fantasy/sci-fi piece that will have you hooked … A tumultuous romance, a movingemotional plot, an immersive setting, layered characters with emotional insecurities, faults, but also many strong points, and so much more are included … I loved the book; it was an easy, engaging read … An amazing novel.”
